Hiring a “designer” is not merely for the rich and famous. We all have priorities when it comes to our time and our budgets. A good interior designer should assist you in making smart, well thought-through decisions when investing in your home or commercial space. When done correctly, an interior designer will help you save money and time, not to mention the headaches and heartaches that come with buyer’s remorse. This is the foundation upon which Humanity Design Works is built.
Our Team
OWNER
Kelly Silverstein
President, Kelly Silverstein, has been an interior designer for over 20 years. Her resume includes both residential and commercial spaces. Her approach to design is a healthy mix of style and realism. Having a beautiful space is only half of the equation. A successfully designed space has to function according to each owner’s unique requirements, such as customer experience, family size and age, activities and of course our beloved pets. Kelly takes all aspects of her clients’ lives into consideration when designing the ideal space for their home or business.
Kelly is a member of IDS (Interior Design Society), KBIS (Kitchen and Bath Industry Show), and CSI (Construction Specification Institute… regrettably not Crime Scene Investigations) and a founding member of the Wine Country Design Group. Kelly welcomes the opportunity to learn more about your design goals. Contact us now for an IN-HOME CONSULTATION.

Personalized Attention
We understand that you have many choices when it comes to the products and accessories you select for your spaces. What sets us apart from most retail stores, including the Internet marketplace, is the personalized attention we give to each and every one of our customers. When you enter our showroom, we are truly happy to see you and willing to spend whatever time it takes to learn about you, your style and how you live and work. Only then are we able to give you our expert advice on which products are the best fit for you.
-
Product Education
Our mission is to educate our customers so you are better equipped to make informed decisions when it comes to designing your space. Our homes and businesses are a major investment, and you deserve to make the most of it. Whether you are building new, remodeling or simply adding new furniture and accessories, we want you to understand the value of your purchases. This understanding requires an expert to explain how and where various products are made, and why certain products have a longer “shelf-life” than others. Only then can you make the purchases that are best for you.
-
Lender’s Library
We understand that purchases for your home and business can be intimidating and that often items that appear one way in the showroom look completely different in your home. This is why, whenever possible, we allow you to take samples or even a piece home in order to make certain it will work for you. We sincerely do not want to sell you something that you are not going to be happy with for years to come.
